My name is Ashlee and I am the owner of Lulu and Monkey. Lulu and Monkey first came to light in 2023 when my husband Luke and I fell pregnant with our first baby. I am a super sentimental person and love having physical things, so I went out and purchased a pregnancy journal, along with a baby milestone journal to give to my daughter one day. I remember sitting at our table one night filling some of it in and looked at Lucy laying on my feet, wishing I had bought something like this for her when we first got her. I decided to start looking online, but I couldn't find anything that matched what I had envisioned in my head, so I started designing my own. My husband thought I was crazy for wanting one for Luce, but she really is our first baby and she means the world to us. This is where Lulu and Monkey came to life, as I wanted to create keepsakes that dog owners could cherish forever. Our dog's lives are so short, and having something to look back on forever is something that is really important to me.
